    Head coach for the Minnesota Timberwolves (2005-07), Toronto Raptors (2011-18) and the Detroit Pistons
    Served as head coach for the Sekisui Chemical (1989-92) and Isuzu Motors Lynx (1992-94)
    NBA Coach of the Year (2018)

Why he might be annoying:

    His first name is spelt in an unorthodox manner.
    He was fired by the Timberwolves halfway through his second season, despite the fact the club had a .500 record.
    His tenure with the Raptors was defined by choking in the playoffs, despite having successful regular season records.
    He admits he gets emotional watching movies or when reading poetry.
    He is 20 years older then his wife.
    Despite being a mainstay on the Sonics coaching staff, he was passed over for the head coaching position in favor of the likes of Paul Westphal and Nate McMillan.
    He was forced to resign from his assistant coaching position at the University of Kentucky, after an employee of Emery Worldwide opened an envelope that had a cash payment being sent to the family of Chris Mills.

    He served as the captain on the Wildcats team that won the NCAA Championship (1978).
    He served as a head coach in the Japanese Basketball League, before accepting an assistant coaching position on George Karl's staff in Seattle.
    He was cleared of any wrongdoing and his suspension from the NCAA was lifted after an investigation revealed he wasn't involved in the cash scandal.
    He won an NBA championship as an assistant coach for the Mavericks (2011).
    He guided the Raptors to new franchise records in wins each season.
    He left the Raptors as the winningest coach in franchise history.
    He was the first Raptors coach in franchise history to serve as a head coach in an All-Star Game (2018).
