    Democratic Senator and Representative from Massachusetts
    He was a lawyer by trade.
    He lost his 1992 Presidential bid to Bill Clinton.
    His fiscal conservatism didn't sit well with many Democrats.
    He accused Democrats of playing 'class warfare' and 'corporate bashing.'
    One of his tv campaign ads featured him swimming in a speedo.
    He graduated Dartmouth, and then Yale Law School.
    He left the Senate after being diagnosed with lymphoma.
    He received a bone marrow transplant from his twin sister to save his life.
    He served in Ethiopia as a member of the Peace Corps.
    He passed away from pneumonia and liver failure at age 55 (1997).
