Why he might be annoying:

He dropped out of college after getting a bunch of F’s as a result of practicing guitar instead of studying.
Both his marriages ended in divorce.
He and Black Keys drummer Patrick Carney stopped speaking to each other for a while after the release of ‘Keep It Hid,’ which Carney claimed was recorded behind his back. (Auerbach: ‘I told him about it, but he likes to think I didn’t.’)
He once said his goal in life is ‘not to go bankrupt or get some incurable disease.’

Why he might not be annoying:

He was captain of his high school soccer team.
