The Resume

    (June 22, 1981- )
    Born in Atlanta, Georgia
Birth name is Porsha Dyanne Williams
Formerly known by her married name, Porsha Stewart
Granddaughter to the late civil rights activist Reverend Hosea Williams
Modeled for music videos and calendar spreads in her early 20s
Married Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Kordell Stewart (2011-13)
Cast as a participating housewife during the fifth season of Bravo's reality television series The Real Housewives of Atlanta (2012-13, 2016)
Co-host for the nightly syndicated celebrity news program, 'Dish Network'
Released her debut single, 'Flatline,' through the iTunes Store, on March 17, 2014
Signed on as a contestant for the eighth installment of the reality competition series Celebrity Apprentice (2016)

Why she might be annoying:

She has a line of hair extension products called 'Go Naked.'
Her marriage to Kordell Stewart was filmed for an episode of We TV's 'Platinum' series.
She was arrested for speeding with a suspended license (Dec. 29, 2014).
She admitted to calling her newly enhanced breasts 'Coco' and 'Chanel,' as well as 'new RHOA cast members' on the Steve Harvey Show.
She got into a war of words with her ex-husband after she declined to shoot down rumors of his being gay during an interview with Wendy Williams.
She made her 'Real Housewives' debut in 2012, through a heated verbal confrontation with Kenya Moore (which they carried out at a Charity Benefit for a Homeless Shelter).
She, Moore, and Cynthia Bailey spent the remainder of the 2012 season feuding over *gasp* petty, superficial, and materialistic crap.
She became a widely circulated meme when an RHOA episode aired showing her touring a historical 'safe box' site used via the Underground Railroad to escape to free states.
As the tour guide explained that, to this day, it remains unclear how the abolitionists got the escapees in and out of the safe-box, Williams replied inquisitively 'well there has to be an opening for the railroad at some point. Because somebody's driving the train! Its not electric like what we have now.'
The fact that she was the granddaughter of a man who worked closely with Dr. Martin Luther King led many to comment that she was dragging her family name through the mud, either by her ignorance of history or by reducing the story of the Underground Railroad into a ditz one-liner.
She got into an altercation with Kenya Moore, during the filming of the Season 6 reunion, in which insults were exchanged including 'slut from the '90s' and 'dumb ho.' The fight got to be so bad that Moore threatened to leave if Porsha remained with the show.

Why she might not be annoying:

Her good-natured pseudo-naivete is very charming.
She opened a daycare facility at the age of 24.
Many of her RHOA castmates came off as jealous of her physical attributes.
Her marriage to Kordell mostly fell apart after she suffered a miscarriage of the child they conceived.
She found out about Stewart's plans to file for divorce via Twitter.
She handled an entire segment of side-eyed shading and backhanded compliments on The Wendy Williams Show with aplomb.
TMZ reports surfaced claiming she had a fling with the son of an African dictator, who showered her with extravagant gifts including a Rolls Royce, Louis Vuitton accessories, and Chanel perfumes, but they turned out to be completely unsubstantiated.
She is a gifted singer who not only launched a career in the music industry with her 2014 'Flatline' single, but also performed a stint as Jada in a production of 'A Mother's Love.'
She received nasty backlash over her posting a photo on Instagram of her bare feet resting on a steering wheel. Social media users blasted her toes as ugly and misshapen (May 2014).
She later commented on the 'Railroad gaffe' by saying: 'It was a brain lapse. I have Porsha moments that you’ve seen on the show before. For me seeing that I knew that I had to go back and brush up on my history so I’m representing my legacy well.'
