Why he might be annoying
He had the feminine-sounding middle name 'Daniele.'
He told an interviewer he was conceived 'during a lull in the filming' of 'Lawrence of Arabia.'
During an argument on the 'Platoon' set, he decked Willem Dafoe, creating a reputation for being difficult to work with that hurt his film career.
Despite being of Mexican, Italian and Irish descent, he was frequently cast as Arabs.
Why he might not be annoying
He said about being Anthony Quinn's son, 'My father's larger than life.... It's like living with the Queen of England.'
He acted with his father in three films, including a version of 'The Old Man and the Sea' in which he played a younger version of the character portrayed by his father.
He was fluent in English, Spanish, French and Italian.
His twin children, Max and Michela, were baptized by Pope John Paul II.
He cycled (either on mountain bike or motorcycle) 300 miles a week.
