    On his Dick Smith Electronics store logo he has his head between Dick and Smith, unintentionally implying that he is Dickhead Smith.
    A lot of the Dick Smith Electronics components are not Australian made but imported from Asia.

    His 'Dick Smith Peanut Butter' grabbed an 18% market share after he told the TV audiences that top brands like Kraft and Eta are actually owned by cigarette company Philip Morris, Inc.
    He is adventurous.
    He released 'Fun Way Into Electrics' volumes 1 to 3 and the electronic kits to go with it.
