Football Player
    (December 12, 1970-September 23, 2011)
Born in Washington, District of Columbia
Offensive tackle for the Cleveland Browns (1993-95,1999-2000) and Baltimore Ravens (1996-98,2003-05)
    Nicknamed 'Zeus'
    6'7 tall
    Playing weight: 350 pounds
Accidentally struck in the eye by a weighted penalty marker thrown by referee Jeff Triplette (December 19, 1999)
After being treated by the team medical staff and while being taken to the locker room, he pushed past the trainers, ran back onto the field and shoved Triplette to the ground.
He shared a name with a child actor.
This Orlando Brown played for the Ravens, while that Orlando Brown starred in 'That's So Raven!' (Cue Twilight Zone music.)
Early in his NFL career, he got into so many fights with teammates during practices, that Bill Belichick tried to cut down on scuffles by having him practice in only shorts and a t-shirt while the rest of the team wore helmets and pads.
He told an interviewer, 'I don't really like football, but I like to pound people.... I like to see that man in front of me suffer.'
He was arrested and charged with burglary and destruction of property after reportedly breaking into his ex-wife's house (2009).
His ejection from the game for shoving Triplette proved beneficial, since doctors later said that so much pressure was building on his eye from the internal bleeding that had he stayed in the game, they might not have been able to save his eye. ('People ask me what I'm going to do when I see that ref. I'm going to kiss him, that's what I'm going to do.')
His father had gone blind from glaucoma, which may have played a role in his reaction to being struck in the eye.
After three years, the vision in his right eye improved to 20/25 and he was medically cleared to return to the NFL.
He was one of only two players to play in both versions of the Browns (the original team that moved to Baltimore and became the Ravens and the expansion team awarded to Cleveland in 1999).
He started at both offensive and defensive tackle in a game against the Oakland Raiders (2003).
He was born prematurely and weighed just 3 pounds, 2 ounces.
