Why he might be annoying:

He accused Democrats of using ‘unprecedented rhetoric’ during the 2004 election.
Critics say he was nothing more than a corporate lobbyist ‘embedded’ into Bush’s administration.
They claim he placed emphasis on corporate interests over good public policy.
On St. Patrick’s Day, he released a limerick mocking John Kerry (2004).
He briefly served as director of public affairs for the Department of Commerce, a department he helped Dick Armey try to eliminate.
His lobby firm’s client list includes Enron.
He worked as an attendant in the Senatorial parking lot while attending college.

Why he might not be annoying:

As RNC chairman, he saw Republicans retain the Presidency and hold their Congressional majority (2004).
He helped the Republican Party achieve record fundraising levels (2004).
The Washington Post said he has ‘razor sharp wit.’
He responded with good humor when harassed with silly questions by reporters from 'The Daily Show' (2004).
Although prominent as a Republican, he first interned for a Democratic Congressman from Florida.
He graduated Catholic University with a degree in political science.
He was the sports editor for Catholic University’s student newspaper.
