Why she might be annoying:

She had intentions of putting her acting career on hold to study philosophy at Cambridge University until she was offered larger film roles and decided to take up acting full time.
When she discovered that critics were comparing her to Kate Winslet and saying that she looked like Leonardo DiCaprio, she said: 'Maybe when they make 'Titanic 2' I could play their love child.'
Kate Winslet refused to appear in a film with her because they look too much alike.

Why she might not be annoying:

She was discovered when a BBC scriptwriter spotted her in a school play.
Vanity Fair hailed her as the 'next big thing' in 2003.
She is a good friend of Keira Knightley and the pair toyed with the idea of writing when neither of them could find any acting work.
She said that the reason she chose acting over studies is because she thought: 'I can sit in a classroom studying a novel and Harold Pinter plays, or I can be in a film of the novel, with Harold Pinter playing my uncle.'
