Why she might be annoying
She married at twelve years old (September 27, 2003).
She married a fifteen year old.
At her wedding ceremony, she threw a tantrum and ran out of the church.
Her 12 bridesmaids yelled 'Out with Birita' (her groom's name is Mihai Birita).
Minutes later she came back into the church and got married.
Her father not only arranged the marriage but also performed the ceremony.
Her father gave the groom's family a dowry worth many thousands of dollars.
Her wedding gown cost $4,000.
Why she might not be annoying
The legal age for marriage in Romania is eighteen.
Although she did not want to wed, she did go through with the Gypsy tradition of arranged childhood marriages.
She said: 'I don't want to marry, I am choosy and I have refused several marriage partners my parents presented to me.'
She cried all day prior to the wedding and her father said the marriage will go on with or without her.
Her father's adviser Dana Cherendea said she would be punished for her disobedience during the marriage ceremony and went on to say that she would get a beating 'for spoiling the lavish event.'
