    Won the NL Pitcher of the Year Award from The Sporting News (1987)
    NL Rolaids' Relief Man of the Year (1987)
    His nickname was Bedrock.
    He only made one All-Star selection.
    He chewed tobacco.
    He gave up the pitch for Barry Bond's first ever walk-off home run.
    During his only season as a starter, he lost 15 games (1985).
