Figure Skater
    (June 18, 1966- )
    Raised in Caroline, Alberta
    Four World titles
    Four Canadian titles
    Three Olympic Team memberships
    Three World Professional titles
He has no documented middle name.
He stands 5'7 but looks somewhat taller (must be his bald spot).
He failed to win any medal at the 1992 Winter Olympics in Albertville. Since the next Olympics were two years later, in Lillehammer, he saw it as his last chance for an Olympic medal. He failed again, and turned pro almost immediately thereafter, at age 27.
He seems to have a greater interest in showmanship than competition.
Thanks to chronic back problems, he no longer does back flips as part of his show routines.
He has a high nasal voice.
He burned down his mansion when he tried to dry out his convertible with a leaf blower (August 18, 2010).
He was the first skater to land a four-revolution toe loop, commonly known as a quad, at the World Championships (1988, Budapest, Hungary).
He was actually a hockey player, and he saw figure skating as a way to get more ice time.
He did one figure skating number in hockey skates! (Wild!)
He and Scott Hamilton have nicknamed each other 'Skate Gods for Life.'
He has performed pairs routines with Kristi Yamaguchi (herself a notable pairs skater).
Unlike many of his fellow skaters, he hasn't had any notable run-ins with the law.
