Why he might not be annoying
He's been rehired to NBC and his scandals are behind him.
He is a frequent guest on David Letterman.
He presents humorous sports clips when he calls 'The Wild and the Wacky.'
His voice is distinctive and has been copied/immitated by others.
Because of his fame, he opened the door to sportcasting to his brothers Steve and Al and son.
He makes sure to credit his sportscasting partnerts.
