Why he might be annoying
He was arrested in 2003 when he was accused of slapping a woman and threatening her with a gun.
As part of the deal, he was ordered to stay out of legal trouble for two years, but was arrested again in September 2005 for an altercation with a girlfriend at a bar.
He has been described as arrogant and surly.
He can be smug in interviews.
He comes from a great family and still acts like a knucklehead.
He shares his name with 'Grandmama.'
Why he might not be annoying
In 2002, he became one the few players to rush for over 2,000 yards in a season without winning the Heisman Trophy, and did it with fewer carries than any other back in the 2,000 yard club.
His 8.02 yards per carry broke Mike Rozier's NCAA record for highest average per carry over the course of the regular season.
He is rapidly breaking the stereotype that Penn State running backs are busts when they get to the NFL.
He is elusive for his size.
He comes from an athletic family.
His father built a dynasty at McDonough High School in Maryland, going 82-10 and winning 3 state crowns in the final 8 years.
He never directly played for his father, and did not receive any preferential treatment at Penn State because of who his father was.
