He dropped out of New York University shortly after being cast in Young Americans.
He wrote a movie for director Mark Steven Johnson and MGM, called 'Succubus' about female demons who suck the souls of men by sleeping with them.
When media conglomerate Sony bought MGM however, the film was sent into development hell.

He plays bass clarinet.
He was captain of his high school baseball team.
He stays fit by working out daily and running 35-40 miles a week.
As a young child, his many frequent family trips to the Goodspeed Opera House sparked his interest in acting.
