Why they might be annoying:

Victor broke the band up after the albums 'Cleansing' and 'Rude Awakening' made no impact on the charts.
They consider themselves as an industrial band even though most critics have labeled them a NY hardcore band.
Tom reformed the band in 2001 with him being the sole original member.

Why they might not be annoying:

Prong was made up of musicians that had, at one point or the other, been in The Misfits, The Swans, Killing Joke, Murder Inc. and Flotsam and Jetsam.
Tom used to work as a sound man at CBGB's.
Tom said after reforming the band and keeping the name Prong: 'There are people out there that want to hear it and I owe it to them.'
