Why they might be annoying:

There was a rumor that Val Kilmer plays one of the cavemen.
They have a speech impediment and huge overbites.
If you cannot figure out how to use GEICO's web page, that 'So easy a caveman can do it' line will make you feel even dumber.
ABC threatened to develop a sitcom based on them.
He errantly says the sign is 4 feet by 5 feet when the proportion difference is much greater than that.
They mock racism and stereotypes.

Why they might not be annoying:

They dispel cavemen stereotypes. For instance, who knew cavemen were so metrosexual?
Talia Shire portrays the therapist of one caveman.
A caveman played golf with Phil Simms in the Super Bowl pre-show(2007).
