    Appeared in the films 'Count Yorga, Vampire' (1970), 'The Return of Count Yorga' (1971), 'Dr. Phibes Rises Again' (1972), 'Deathmaster' (1972), 'The Zombies of Sugar Hill' (1974), 'Madhouse' (1974), 'Sexbomb' (1989), 'Teenage Exorcist' (1991), 'Droid Gunner' (1995) and 'The Prophet' (1999)
    Wrote the cookbook 'Wonderfully Simple Recipes for Simply Wonderful Food' (1988)

Why he might be annoying:

    His first film role, in Hitchcock's 'Shadow of a Doubt,' wound up on the cutting room floor.
    He appeared in yellowface to portray a Japanese man in a commercial for Joy Soap.
    In his vampire movies, he had trouble with lisping while wearing his fangs.
    After Vincent Price overheard him singing in his dressing room during the filming of 'Dr. Phibes Rises Again,' he said to Price, 'You didn't know I could sing did you?' Price replied, 'Well, I knew you couldn't act.'

Why he might not be annoying:

    He graduated high school at age 14 and reportedly had an IQ of 168.
    He was an expert in bridge.
    His career was derailed when he suffered facial injuries after being struck by a drunk driver.
    After he recovered, he was the victim of a mugging, during which he suffered a heart attack.
