The Resume

    (April 30, 1948-January 23, 1973)
Born in New York City, New York
    Son of Aristotle Onassis
    President of Olympia Aviation (1971-73)
Died in the crash of an amphibious plane at age 24

Why he might be annoying:

He flunked the entrance exams for a Paris lycee when he was 16.
He and his sister Christina objected to their father's marriage to Jacqueline Kennedy.
His father objected to his relationships with actress Odile Rodin (Porfiro Rubirosa's widow) and model Fiona Thyssen (ex-wife of a German baron).
When he and Thyssen went to a discotheque on a date, she punched another dancer in the face when he suggested she was only dating Alexander because of his father's wealth (1966).
He was named president of Olympic Aviation because his dad owned the airline.
He would let his stepbrother, John F. Kennedy, Jr., fly at the controls of his plane. (Sure, it seemed like a friendly gesture at the time, but considering how the two of them died...)
His father would insist that his death was no accident, but was a plot by the C.I.A. and Greek military junta.

Why he might not be annoying:

He was named after one of Aristotle's uncles who had been lynched by Turkish soldiers.
Despite their hostility towards Jackie, he and Christina were friendly to her children, Caroline and John, Jr.
He acquired 1500 flying hours and often flew on emergency medical missions.
Aristotle was said to have never recovered from his death.
