The Resume

    (August 28, 1982- )
Birth name is Margaret LeAnn Rimes
Recorded the hit songs 'Blue,' 'How Do I Live,' 'One Way Ticket,' 'Commitment,' 'I Need You' and 'Can't Fight the Moonlight'
Youngest country star (14 years old) to debut a song at #1 (Blue)
Won Grammys, American Music Awards, American Country Music Awards and Billboard Awards
Won on 'Star Search' as a child
Married actor Eddie Cibrian, with whom she'd had an affair (April 22, 2011)

Why she might be annoying:

She sued her father and during the court trial she mouthed 'I hate you.'
    She yodels.
Many of her songs are remakes.
She cancels a lot of her concerts.
She canceled an entire tour, blaming it on throat problems, but during that time she sang four songs for the soundtrack of 'Coyote Ugly' (Summer 2000).
    She's a bad actress.
She chose to star in 'Holiday in Your Heart' (a horrendous TV movie that barely anyone saw), rather than take the supporting role of the young girl in 'The Horse Whisperer.'
Her teeth are capped and don't look normal.
She's trying to do the music genre cross-over thing, ala Shania Twain and Faith Hill.

Why she might not be annoying:

Her father squander much of her money and deserved to be sued.
She acts and dresses more mature than the majority of teen stars today.
She made an awkward transition from 'kiddie act' to 'adult singer.'
She got rid of her poofy '50s hair style.
She visited a comatose girl in a hospital and sang to her.
She was asked to host the ACM (American Country Music) awards (May 2001).
After recording 'How Do I Live' for the movie, 'Con-Air,' she was asked to change the sound and she refused.
Tricia Yearwood replaced her for the movie sound track, but LeAnn's version was much more popular among song buyers (69 weeks on the top 100).
She beat out Christina Aguilera and others as the singing voice of Piper Perabo in 'Coyote Ugly.'
    She is fan friendly.
    She ranked #85 (2001) and #19 (2003) in Stuff's Sexiest Women.
