He named his first son Richard Joshua Reynolds, Jr.

He became famous for introducing Prince Albert chewing tobacco (1907).
He named his cigarette Camels to give it a Turkish orient feel.
The original logo was Barnum and Bailey circus' camel 'Old Joe.'
Ironically he died of pancreatic cancer, due to chewing tobacco.

30 years after his death most of Reynolda was donated to Wake Forest University (1951).
