Basketball Coach

The Resume

    (December 23, 1945- )
    Born in Brooklyn, New York
Associate head coach for Syracuse's men's basketball (1976-2011)
Fired by Syracuse officials after allegations of molestation (November 2011)
Faced a civil lawsuit in a Pennsylvania state court (December 8, 2011)

Why he might be annoying:

In an episode of ESPN's 'Outside the Lines,' two former Syracuse ball boys accused Fine of molesting them between the 1970's and the 1990's.
These allegations came just days after Penn State assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky was charged on similar counts.
Because the incidents occurred over ten years ago, the statute of limitations would probably bar any prosecution against Fine.
Fine's wife Laurie said she knew about her husband's behavior, but felt powerless to stop it.

Why he might not be annoying:

He was named the president of the Central New York Kidney Foundation, and, a faculty adviser for a social fraternity, Sigma Alpha Mu.
He has been involved with the Boys Club and the Make-a-Wish Foundation.
He coached U.S. Maccabiah team to a silver medal at the 1993 World Maccabiah Games in Israel.
In 2002, he participated in The Blackfeet Native Skill-Builder Hoop Clinic, a basketball seminar conducted on the Blackfeet Indian Reservation in Montana.
