He (with his brother's assistance) kidnapped his wife and children while armed with a with a buck knife, pepper spray, a flashlight and duct tape (1998).
He spent 30 days in jail for that kidnapping (Johnny Cochran was his lawyer - 2000).
He hit his second wife.
He was knocked out by Lennox Lewis in the Olympic Gold medal match.
He tossed his WBC championship belt into a trash can during a press conference in London because he didn't want to fight Lennox Lewis (1993).
He was fined $250,000 when his entourage caused a riot at Madison Square Garden, which occurred after his opponent, Andrew Golota, was disqualified for low blows.
He lost his title when defending it against Evander Holyfield (November 6, 1993).
In an attempt to fulfill his boyhood dream of becoming a Marine, he signed up for three months of boot camp, but quit after three days.

He won a decision over Evander Holyfield to become the world Heavyweight Champ (November 13, 1992).
He suffered from boxing induced brain damage.
