He’s no Todd!
He didn’t think he would make it to the second round (you have Michelle to thank for that).
He had a crush on Marcus (who is straight).

Why he might not be annoying:

He is a lifelong Survivor fan.
He doesn’t think any Survivor can play completely under the radar.
Ken convinced a critical mass of Nobag (merged tribe) he was the brains behind the original Kota.
There was no bitterness in his post-ouster confessional. (Hell, he felt happy to be able to hang out with Marcus again!)
His boot episode honored the memory of Rudy Boesch’s wife.
