    Even Charlton Heston thought he was extreme.
    Following the Sandy Hook school shooting, he rebuked calls for gun control, and instead, called for armed security guards in every American school and said the U.S. would be safer if more good people had guns (December 23, 2012).
    He points out how people have used guns in self defense against criminals.
    He stands up for everyone’s second amendment rights.
