Why Qwest DSL might be annoying:

Its apparently so much cooler to spell Quest with a 'w.'
The 'w' is there to cleverly spell 'west' as they are on the west coast.
Because of their notoriously bad customer service, they have earned the nickname 'Qworst' with some of their former customers.
They have been accused of making a series of deals with Enron to help them conceal financial losses.
Their parent company Qwest DSL has been involved in numerous accounting scandals that resulted in a $250 million fine from the SEC.
They will sometimes not respond to the needs of their customers in a time-efficient manner unless they are threatened with lawsuits.

Why Qwest DSL might not be annoying:

They are trying to rehabilitate their image.
Their telephone company offers this as a stand-alone service, without requiring the use of their telephone services like most phone companies.
