Why she might be annoying:

She took a fertility drug.
She ignored warnings from doctors, who advise aborting some of the fetuses to give the other children a better chance of survival.
Her record of septuplets was eclipsed a year later on December 8, 1998 when 27 year old, Nkem Chukwo, gave birth to six girls and two boys, 12 weeks premature.
(Nkem, however, gave birth to one child on December 8th and the other 7 on December 20th).

Why she might not be annoying:

She was firm in her beliefs.
When told that the children would have a better chance of survival with selective reduction, she said: 'God gave us those kids. He wants us to raise them.'
She is ranked in People Magazine's 25 Most Intriguing People (1997).
