Basketball Coach
    (February 19, 1961- )
    Born in South Portland, Maine
Head coach for the North Melbourne Giants (1993-98), Sydney Kings (2000-02) and the Philadelphia 76ers
Assistant coach for the Melbourne Tigers (1988-93) and the San Antonio Spurs (2002-13)
He took his first NBA head coaching opportunity with one of the worst teams.
He reached 200 career losses in his first three seasons.
His Sixer teams were notorious for going on losing streaks of ten or more games at a time.
He narrowly avoided breaking both the franchise and NBA record for worst win/loss record in a single season.
He never played a game in the NBA.
He was a member of Gregg Popovich's coaching staff for three of the Spurs championship runs (2003, 2005, 2007).
He worked as a salesperson for AT&T, prior to landing in the NBL.
He was a standout high school basketball player, and along with his father earned an induction into the New England Basketball Hall of Fame.
He established his coaching career in the Australian basketball ranks in his mid 20's.
Some basketball pundits felt his lack of success in Philadelphia was a result of inheriting a roster devoid of talent.
