Pitcher for the St. Louis Cardinals (1988-91, 1995), Montreal Expos (1992-94), Cleveland Indians (1995), Texas Rangers (1996-97), Anaheim Angels (1997-2000), Chicago White Sox (2000) and the Tampa Bay Devil Rays (2001)

Why he might be annoying:

He played on seven different teams, including two separate stints with the Cardinals.
He never got a chance to finish his best statistical season as a result of the 1994 players strike.
He suffered a serious injury on his throwing arm, which dramatically altered his pitching velocity.
He was relegated to bullpen duties in the later stages of his career.
His career ended after he pitched inconsistently on a horrible Devil Rays team, and was released two weeks into the 2001 season.

Why he might not be annoying:

He was one of the prospects acquired by the Expos in the Andres Galarraga trade.
He established himself as the ace of the Expos staff upon being acquired by the team.
He made his lone All-Star Game appearance as a member of the Expos (1994).
He was a member of the Rangers team that made the franchise's first post-season appearance (1996).
He lent his time to various initiatives that promoted reading to children, during his stint with the Expos.
