He was also caught on camera doing a crossword puzzle while the John Roberts hearing was in progress.
He is die-hard pro-life, even though he performed an abortion on two women with heart disease while a gynecologist. He claims he was upholding his hippocratic oath.
He is opposed to abortion in cases of rape because his great-grandmother was raped by a sheriff.
As a doctor, he sterilized a 21 year-old woman without her written consent and charged it to Medicaid (1990).
He protested when NBC aired 'Schindler's List' and said it took television 'to an all-time low, with full-frontal nudity, violence and profanity.'
He said the 'gay agenda' is 'the greatest threat to our freedom that we face today' (2004).
He called global warming 'a lot of crap' (2004).
He claimed breast implants make women healthier (2005).
He is not related to James Coburn.

He won a seat as a U.S. Representative in a heavily Democratic district.
He criticized fellow Republicans that were participating in pork barrel politics they opposed under the Democrats.
