Why he might be annoying:

He walked out in the middle of the band's European tour (October 24, 2003).
He is said to now be writing songs for Avril Lavigne.
Several people have suggested that it has something to do with the torn romance between him and ex-bandmate, Amy Lee.
After his leave, he began to say some rather insulting things about his time spent with Amy Lee.
He wore an 'I Love Alyssa Milano' shirt at the Teen Choice Awards. He got a limo driver fired before the event because the driver refused to turn the car around to pick up the shirt (2003).

Why he might not be annoying:

He founded the group in his teen years.
He dealt with Amy vomiting on him on several occasions.
