    He dubbed ‘Axel F’ ‘the banana theme’ since it was written for a scene in ‘Beverly Hills Cop’ where Axel Foley eludes the cops tailing him by shoving bananas up the tailpipe of their car, causing it to stall out.
    He runs his own butchery that produces sausages and hams.
    He has perfect pitch.
    While attending the Hochschule fur Musik, he engineered classical albums for the prestigious Deutsche Grammophon label.
    ’Axel F’ reached #3 on the Billboard Top 40 chart, and #1 on both the adult contemporary and dance music charts.
    He won Grammys for Best Score for Visual Medium for the ‘Beverly Hills Cop’ soundtrack, and Best Pop Instrumental for ‘Top Gun Anthem.’
    He owns a private brewery that produces specialty beers.
