Why he might be annoying:

He called himself 'Count Von Cosel,' but wasn't a real count.
At 56, He fell in love with his 22-year-old patient.
He worked as a doctor even though he had no medical degree.
When she died, he visited her mausoleum every night, claiming she spoke to him.
Seven years later, the woman's family discovered the body was missing.
Von Cosel had stolen it, preserved it, and was keeping it in his bed as his 'wife.'
He even had rigged up the corpse so he could have sex with it.
Because the statute of limitations had expired, he was never charged with a crime.
After they took the body away, he made a stuffed dummy of his 'bride' and lived with it for another 14 years.

Why he might not be annoying:

Although he was unqualified, he worked as a radiologist in a tuberculosis ward.
At night, he would play soothing music to help the corpse 'sleep' (aw, how romantic).
