    He was injury-prone during his first five professional seasons.
    His inconsistency as a closer led to him being relegated to middle relief during the last two seasons in Houston.
    During the 2005 World Series run, he notoriously blew saves in key games for the Astros.
    He was the winning pitcher for Astros in the 6 pitcher tandem which pitched a no-hitter (2003).
    His dominance in the later innings earned him the closer's job in his second full season.
    He is the third pitcher in Astros history to record 100 career saves with the franchise.
    He played for the United States team at the inaugural World Baseball Classic.
    He was an integral part of the Phillies bullpen which helped the team win their first World Series title in 28 years (2008).
