Why he might be annoying:

His ring name was the same as the televangelist Billy Graham.
He hawked a cartoon poster of himself walking with a tiger.
He was managed by The Grand Wizard of Wrestling.
He was a heavy steroid user.
His steroid abuse caused him a number of surgeries, two artificial hips, a fused ankle, and constant pain.
The WWF televised his hip replacement in 1987.
He admitted to being the innovator of steroid use in wrestling and the reason so many wrestlers have gotten into steroids.
He considered himself 'The man of the hour, the man with the power, too sweet to be sour, the original 22-inch pythons, Superstar Billy Graham!'
He made a comeback in the late-80’s, but his poor health killed the push.
When he left wrestling in 1978, he became a recluse and The Philadelphia Enquirer mistakenly reported him dead.
He unsuccessfully sued the WWE for the affects steroids had on his body.

Hulk Hogan told 'The New Pictorial History of Wrestling' that his character was based on Billy Graham.
He’s the longest-reigning heel champion ever.
He was the WWF’s top heel of the 70’s. Vince McMahon, Sr. had no intention of Graham holding the belt as long as he did, but due to his ability to constantly pack Madison Square Garden, he kept the belt longer.
He brought the heel role to a whole new level and he’s considered one of the most influential heels ever.
Due to the effect that years of steroid abuse had on his body, he spoke out about steroids, warning people how dangerous they are.
He’s a member of the Wrestling-Observer Hall of Fame.
He’s Vince McMahon’s all-time favorite wrestler.
