Brett Gurewitz left the band when Bad Religion signed to major label.
    He looks like <4665>Christopher Meloni

Why he might not be annoying:

He has fronted Bad Religion since 1980.
Unlike many other music artists who sing about their views on religion he is actually well educated in the field of evolutionary science and biology.
He double-majored in anthropology and geology, received a master’s degree at UCLA and Ph.D at Cornell University.
He teaches Life Science at UCLA during the winter months and tours with Bad Religion in the summer.
He received the Harvard Secular Society’s ‘Outstanding Lifetime Achievement Award in Cultural Humanism’ in 2008.
He prefers to be called naturalist rather than an atheist.
Although he’s not religious he decided that he wanted to be a singer after hearing Andrew Lloyd Webber’s 'Jesus Christ Superstar.'
He said his biggest influence was his uncle Stanley Carpenter, when he performed sing alongs on his guitar growing up in Wisconsin.
He released two solo albums with a more personal style and folk influence.
