The West Indies Cricket Board was upset that batsman, Brian Lara, brought her to Australia while on a cricket tournament (2000).
Lara's play during that tournament was well below par.
She got into an argument with boyfriend Lara when she was late in getting ready for a party. He hit her repeatedly, she went to the police and asked that he only be warned and NOT arrested.
When Lara has a batting slump, he blames her for it.
