She was one of many 'Beverly Hills 90210' cast members who didn't get along with Shannen Doherty (big surprise!).
Her talk show was fun and intelligent but didn't last long on the air (1995).

When she became pregnant in real life, it set up a dramatic story line for her character.
Her character's relationship with the baby's father led to the first regular hispanic cast member on '90210.'
She is a volunteer and activist for various causes.
