Military Personnel
    (March 7, 1904-May 14, 1942)
Constructed the 'Final Solution' for Hitler (1941)
Appointed Deputy Reich Protector of Bohemia and Moravia in former Czechoslovakia (1941)
Called 'The Blond Beast' by the Nazis and 'Hangman Heydrich' by the Jews
He was second in importance only to Heinrich Himmler in the Waffen-SS, and the principle planner of the 'Final Solution.'
At a young age he was influenced by the racial fanaticism of the German Volk movement and its belief in the supremacy of the blond haired, blue eyed Germanic people.
Although too young to serve in WW I, after the war at sixteen, he joined up with the local 'Freikorps,' a right-wing, anti-Semitic organization of ex-soldiers involved in violently opposing Communists on the streets.
During the 'Night of the Long Knives,' dozens of top SA leaders were hunted down and murdered on Hitler's orders, with the list of those to be murdered drawn up by Heydrich. As a result the SA Brownshirts lost much of their influence and were quickly overtaken in importance by the SS (1935).
As a prelude to the invasion of Poland, Heydrich engineered a fake Polish attack on a German radio station. Thus giving Hitler an excuse for military retribution.
As the German Army swept through the Soviet Union, Heydrich told his subordinate Adolf Eichmann: 'The Führer has ordered the physical extermination of the Jews' (1942).
SS Police executed male civilians of an innocent Czech village to avenge the assassination of Heydrich. The women and children of the village were sent to concentration camps.
He was discharged from the German Navy in 1930 after having sex with a ship masters daughter and then refusing to marry her.
    Heydrich was tall and lanky.
His fiancé made him join the Nazi Party (1931).
Free Czech agents who had been trained in England and brought to Czechoslovakia assassinated Heydrich. They shot at him then threw a bomb into his car which exploded, wounding him. He later died from his injuries (1942).
He was a skilled violin player.
