    As a result of having the same name as The King of Pop, some sportscasters went as far as using the singer's song titles in highlight reels.
    He wore #1 for the first three seasons of his career, before being forced to switch to #81 when the NFL instituted regulated numbers.
    He changed his surname from Jackson to Dyson and back to Jackson after the second week of the 1993 NFL season.
    His career was plagued by injuries.
    He was a notorious trash talker.
    He was college teammates with Brett Favre at the University of Southern Mississippi.
    He flourished in his first few seasons with the Browns, under Bill Belichick.
    He led the NFL in touchdown receptions, during the Ravens inaugural season.
    He served as mayor of his hometown of Tangipahoa, following his retirement from the NFL.
    He took the mayor's position in order to give back to his hometown.
