    He dropped out of Cornell after one year.
    He took time off between high school and college, bumming around Europe as a musician.
    He sang 'Cruisin' with Gwyneth Paltrow in Duets.
    After leaving Chrysalis Records, he has not been quite as successful as he was during the 1980s.
    In 'Short Cuts,' his character pees in a river with a dead woman floating in it.
    'In Back to the Future,' his character tells Marty McFly his music is too loud. McFly's band was playing the intro to 'Power of Love.'
    Many of his songs from the 1980's are considered 'yuppie anthems.'
    He sued Ray Parker, Jr. for plagiarism, claiming that Parker's 'Ghostbusters' ripped off his 'I Want a New Drug,' yet some feel his song ripped off M's 'Pop Musik.'

    He attended Cornell.
    When asked by Dick Clark on 'American Bandstand' how he and the News handled disagreements, he candidly admitted: 'We yell. The loudest guy usually wins.'
    He performed in USA for Africa.
    His videos are weird but funny.
    He is obsessed with sports, even naming his two biggest albums 'Sports' and 'Fore!'
    He led one of the biggest radio bands of the 1980's.
