Why he might be annoying:

When asked what his favorite planet was (due to his last name), he said Mars.
His body is covered with unattractive tattoos.
He dated Chyna before she entered the WWE.
He was fired after an unimpressive run in the WWE.
He lacks charisma.
He was upset when a jobber (a minor name talentless opponent) messed up a move, so he really beat him up real bad. This angered the WWE and they decided not to give him a strong push into the limelight (2001).

Why he might not be annoying:

His real father left before he was even born.
He was physically and emotionally abused by his stepfather.
He developed crossed eyes after his stepfather punched him.
He suffered a career-threatening knee injury in 1997, and had to stay out of wrestling for almost a year, due to surgery.
He served as an Army Airborne Ranger during the Desert Storm.
He witnessed a disturbance in the next car and saw two guys attempting to rape a woman. He attacked the men, allowing the woman to escape. The guys shot him in his neck three times (April 2004).
