Vocalist
    (June 12, 1951-March 9, 2007)
Lead singer of Boston (1974-1990, off and on since then)
Albums include ‘Boston (1976),’ ‘Don’t Look Back (1978)’ and ‘Third Stage (1986)’
Songs include ‘More Than a Feeling,’ ‘Peace of Mind,’ ‘Amanda,’ ‘Don’t Look Back,’ ‘Foreplay/Long Time,’ ‘It’s Easy,’ ‘A Man I’ll Never Be’ and ‘We’re Ready’
He had a bizarrely high, screamy voice.
A music critic said he sounded ‘like he is ripping his throat out.’
Some criticized him for his lackluster stage presence.
He barely wrote any of Boston’s material.
Since the band first broke up, he could not seem to decide if he wanted to be in it or not.
One writer described him as looking ‘like he owns a used bookstore.’
Boston’s first album sold over 17 million copies.
His voice defined the band’s sound.
In his spare time, he led a Beatles cover band called Beatlejuice.
    He was modest and self-deprecating.
He was called ‘the nicest guy in rock.’
