Nominated for an Emmy for an appearance on 'The Golden Girls'

Why she might be annoying:

She was divorced.
She never got along with Warner Brothers head Jack Warner, causing her to be suspended several times.
She did an unsuccessful pilot to get her own TV show.
She became a cabaret singer while in her 70's.
She looked like Maureen O'Hara.
She appeared in the critically-panned sequel 'Arthur 2: On the Rocks.'

Why she might not be annoying:

Early in her career, she starred in a Mercury Theater production opposite Orson Welles.
She was nominated for an Oscar for her performance in 'Wuthering Heights.'
She was unfairly given roles by the studio that were beneath her abilities.
Rather than having her voice dubbed, she took voice lessons when she had to sing in 'Rachel, Rachel.'
She said: 'I am proud of my rebellious moments, but I wish I'd handled them with more wit.'
She died of complications from Alzheimer's disease.
