    Her marriage to Peter Wiltshire broke up in 18 months.
    She later said she had never loved Wiltshire but had hoped the experience would make her 'grow up.'
    She went from childhood stardom to living on government assistance.
    She was charged with shoplifting a 50-pence package of gelatin (1999).
    She won on the talent show 'Opportunity Knocks' a record-setting five straight weeks.
    She was the youngest person to have a top 10 album in Britain.
    She sang for Queen Elizabeth on 'The Royal Variety Show' and for President Gerald Ford at the White House.
    She died of complications after undergoing a leukotomy in a desperate attempt to relieve her depression.
