Why they might be annoying:

    Beeb?
John Lennon stated 'Reminiscing' was a song he made love to Mai Pang often on his 'long weekend' separation from Yoko Ono.
Problem is the 'long weekend' occurred in 1973-74 and the song came out in 1978.
    They haven't had a U.S. Top 40 hit since 1982.
There was 'in-fighting' amongst group members and they often arrived at venues separately, getting together only during the actual performances.
Their line-up has never been stable. Between 1974-2000 they went through 15 line-up changes.
By the late '80s no original members of the band were left.
There's been legal issues involving the use of the Little River Band name with former members.

Why they might not be annoying:

Band manager Glenn Wheatley helped them become the first Australian group to achieve chart and commercial success in the U.S.
Their album 'Diamantina Cocktail (1977)' was the first to be certified gold in the U.S. by an Australian band.
Their follow-up album, 'Sleeper Catcher (1978),' was the first album recorded in Australia to sell over a million copies in the U.S.
In 2004, the original members were elected to the Australian Record Industry Association (ARIA) Hall of Fame.
John Lennon stated 'Reminiscing' was one of his favorite songs of all time.
'Reminiscing' was recognized as one of the most frequently aired songs in the history of American radio, with more than 4 million plays to its credit.
