His career as a starting goaltender in the NHL was plagued by inconsistency.
He was unceremoniously traded to San Jose for practically little in return midway through his second season with the Wild.
He posted a record of 17-46-11 during his two and a half seasons with the Sharks.

Why he might not be annoying:

He was a standout goaltender in his home country of Finland, before reaching the NHL.
He is the fourth goalie in the history of the Wild to start a game in his NHL debut.
He won nine consecutive games as the Wild’s starting goaltender (2020-21).
He backstopped the Finnish national team to a gold medal at the 2016 World Junior Hockey Championships.
Some hockey pundits cite his struggles in San Jose weren’t entirely his fault as he was stuck behind a porous defense corps during his tenure.
