Why she might be annoying:

Her reign was so violent that she has been compared to Bloody Mary and Caligula.
She persecuted Christians.
She tortured people to death by boiling them with hot water, setting hunting dogs on them and other gruesome methods.
After her husband’s death she had many of his relatives executed.

Why she might not be annoying:

She ended her husband's negotiations with England’s slave trade.
People in Madagascar still admire her, because she stopped the cultural invasion from England and France.
