    His 'magic bullet' concept, killing only the targeted organism, didn't occur in his lifetime.
    He was a genius in researching autoimmunity.
    He worked on serums to treat syphilis and diphtheria.
    He created the term 'chemotherapy.'
    He made a less toxic formula of his own treatment for sleeping sickness.
