TV Series
    (September 30, 1991-December 1, 1995)
    Hosted by Greg Lee
    Lynne Thigpen as The Chief
    Music by Rockapella
Premise: Contestants try to capture the thief Carmen Sandiego by answering geography questions
The show was revamped in 1996 with a bland new host, no Rockapella, a futuristic setting, and was retitled 'Where in Time is Carmen Sandiego?'
It was cancelled soon after the changes.
One episode never aired because a contestant fell during the bonus round and broke his arm.
    Rockapella was overly featured.
    The special effects were cheesy.
It features villains that steal landmarks, yet weeks later are back on the streets stealing again.
It was a unique game show in that it featured skits, an a capella group, and an actual plot.
    It was entertaining and educational.
It was based on a popular video game.
It ranked #47 on TV Guide's '50 Greatest Game Shows of All Time.'
The grand prize was a trip to anywhere in North America.
    It won a Peabody award.
It was parodied by Saturday Night Live with a sketch called, 'Where in the World is San Diego, California?'
It had lots of espionage for a geography game.
